Biography

Maddie Bridgewater is the People & Culture Specialist at Oryx Dental Software, where she supports the company’s people operations and helps shape a consistent, values-driven employee experience. In her role, Maddie works across the organization to strengthen onboarding, hiring processes, performance programs, and internal communications, ensuring that Oryx’s culture continues to scale thoughtfully as the company grows.

With a background rooted in conflict resolution and collaborative leadership, Maddie brings a steady, people-centered approach to her work. She strongly believes that employees should feel supported by their workplace, that a company becomes a kind of professional home where people deserve to be heard, respected, and empowered. Guided by this philosophy, Maddie strives to facilitate a positive, approachable experience for every team member, creating space for open communication, questions, and continuous growth.Before joining Oryx, Maddie completed her undergraduate studies at George Mason University’s Carter School of Conflict Resolution, where she pursued a double concentration in Interpersonal Dynamics and Collaborative Leadership on top of her bachelor’s degree. She then earned her Master of Science in Management with an HR Certification from the Costello School of Business. Following the completion of her graduate program, Maddie found an opportunity to bring her passion for people operations and culture-building to Oryx, joining the team to support the company’s next phase of growth.

Maddie is consistently striving to embody empathy, curiosity, and a collaborative style in the way she approaches her work. She is committed to fostering a workplace where people feel respected, engaged, and equipped to succeed, approaching each interaction with openness and a desire to help others thrive.

Outside of work, Maddie enjoys running, hiking, and singing with her local choir, activities that keep her grounded, energized, and connected to her community.
