Common Security Questions
A referral qualifies once the practice you referred becomes an Oryx customer. Five things have to be true: they scheduled their initial demo using your personalized demo link, they signed an annual contract with Oryx, they completed their initial setup and onboarding, they paid their first monthly recurring invoice, and you were enrolled in the program and linked to their account within 30 days of their contract signing date.
Incentives are calculated per business referred, not per location, so a practice with five locations counts as one qualified referral.
A reference is a conversation you have with a practice that is considering Oryx. It qualifies when the conversation is coordinated with the Oryx sales team and that practice goes on to sign an annual contract. References pay less than referrals but take far less effort, and you can earn both.
There is no cap. Every qualified referral pays $1,000, whether you are a dentist, a business owner, or a team member. Qualified references pay $100 for dentists and business owners and $50 for team members.
Rewards are delivered within 30 days of a referral or reference meeting the payout criteria, paid by direct deposit through Bill.com. Amounts are issued in USD or CAD depending on the referee's billing currency.
Dentists and business owners can choose to take the $1,000 referral reward as a credit to their Oryx account instead of cash. Reference payments are always paid through Bill.com.
Yes. Because rewards are paid in cash, you need to submit a completed W-9 within 30 days of signing up. Every paid ambassador is issued a 1099 at the end of the year.
Anyone who books a demo through your personalized demo link gets $500 off their conversion fees, so the introduction is worth making on their end too.
Only one ambassador is eligible for the incentive on any given referral, which is why booking through your personalized demo link matters.
If a practice you referred books outside your link, tracking can be delayed, but Oryx will correct attribution and honor the referral based on what the practice tells us.
If a practice cancels within 90 days of signing, you forfeit your next referral payment. After 90 days, your reward is not affected.
Yes, and there is no limit. Each qualified referral earns its own $1,000 reward, so five practices is $5,000.

General Terms
The Oryx Dental Ambassador Program (“Program”) rewards eligible ambassadors (“Ambassadors”) for qualified referrals and qualified references, as defined below. By participating, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Oryx Dental Software reserves the right to modify or terminate this Program at any time.
Eligibility
Ambassadors must be (1) a dentist and/or business owner, or (2) a non-dentist team member of a dental organization, and must apply using the form on this web page.
Oryx reserves the right to revoke an Ambassador’s access to the Program at its sole discretion.
Incentives
“Qualified referrals” are referrals that result in a new Oryx customer (“referee”) who:
- Has signed an annual contract with Oryx.
- Has completed initial setup and onboarding.
- Has paid their first monthly recurring invoice.
- Scheduled their initial demo using the Ambassador’s personalized demo link. Referrals originating outside this link may cause delays in tracking; Oryx will honor them based on referee input. Referees who book through the Ambassador’s personalized demo link also receive $500 off their conversion fees.
- Ambassador was enrolled in the Program and associated with the referee’s account within thirty (30) days of the referee’s contract signing date; any association made after 30 days will be disqualified.
Only one Ambassador is eligible per qualified referral. Incentives are calculated per business, not per location (e.g., a referee with 5 locations still qualifies for 1 incentive).
“Qualified references” are reference conversations, coordinated with Oryx’s Sales team, that result in a new Oryx customer who has signed an annual contract with Oryx.
Dentists and Business Owners are eligible to receive $1,000 (USD or CAD, depending on the referee’s billing currency) for each qualified referral, and may choose to receive it as either a credit to their Oryx Dental Software account or a cash payment via Bill.com. Dental Team Members are eligible to receive $1,000 (USD or CAD, depending on the referee’s billing currency) via Bill.com for each qualified referral; the account-credit option is not available to Dental Team Members. There is no cap on the total number of incentives for either group.
Dentists and Business Owners also receive a $100 payment via Bill.com per qualified reference; Dental Team Members receive a $50 payment via Bill.com per qualified reference.
Process and Payment
Incentives are delivered within thirty (30) days of a qualified referral or reference meeting the payout criteria, paid via Bill.com or, for Dentists and Business Owners choosing the account-credit option, as an Oryx account credit.
If a referee cancels within ninety (90) days of signing, the referring Ambassador (dentist or team member) will forfeit their next unrelated referral payment.
Ambassadors must submit a completed W-9 within thirty (30) days of signing up. Every paid Ambassador will be issued a 1099 at the end of the year.
Additional Terms
Changes to the Program: Oryx Dental Software reserves the right to alter, suspend, or terminate this Program, or modify these Terms and Conditions, at any time. Notice of changes will be posted on the Oryx website.
Other Restrictions: Incentives are non-transferable, cannot be combined with other offers, and are subject to verification by Oryx Dental Software. All Program incentives shall be administered solely in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and subject to any limitations or exclusions outlined herein.
