Common Security Questions
A referral qualifies once the practice you referred becomes an Oryx customer. Four things have to be true: they scheduled their initial demo using your personalized demo link, they signed an annual contract with Oryx, they completed their initial setup and onboarding, and they paid their first monthly recurring invoice.
Incentives are calculated per business referred, not per location, so a practice with five locations counts as one qualified referral.
A reference is a conversation you have with a practice that is considering Oryx. It qualifies when the conversation is coordinated with the Oryx sales team and that practice goes on to sign an annual contract. References pay less than referrals but take far less effort, and you can earn both.
There is no cap. Referrals and references both pay out every time they qualify, with no limit on the number of incentives you can receive.
Rewards are delivered within 30 days of a referral or reference meeting the payout criteria. Cash rewards are paid by direct deposit through Bill.com. Free months and account credit are applied directly to your Oryx account.

Only one ambassador is eligible for the incentive on any given referral, which is why booking through your personalized link matters.
If a practice you referred books outside your link, tracking can be delayed, but Oryx will correct attribution and honor the referral based on what the practice tells us.
Yes, and there is no limit. Each qualified referral earns its own reward. For dentists and business owners, 12 qualified referrals adds up to a free year of Oryx Pro.

General Terms
The Oryx Dental Ambassador Program (“Program”) rewards eligible ambassadors (“Ambassadors”) for “qualified referrals” and “qualified references” as defined below. By participating, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. Oryx Dental Software reserves the right to modify or terminate this Program at any time.
Eligibility
In order to be eligible for the Program and its associated rewards, Ambassadors must belong to one of the following categories: (1) A dentist and/or business owner. (2) A non-dentist team member of a dental organization.
Ambassadors must apply to join the Program using the form on this web page.
Oryx reserves the right to revoke an Ambassador’s access to the Program at Oryx’s sole discretion.
Incentives
Ambassadors are eligible for incentives by generating qualified referrals and qualified references.
“Qualified referrals” are defined as referrals that result in new Oryx customers (“referees”) who meet all of the following criteria:
- Referee has signed an annual contract with Oryx.
- Referee has completed their initial setup and onboarding.
- Referee has paid their first monthly recurring invoice.
- Referee scheduled their initial demo using an Ambassador’s personalized demo link. Referees that did not originate from an Ambassador’s personalized demo link may cause delays or disruptions to incentive tracking and distribution. Oryx will update Ambassador attribution in its systems and honor referrals generated outside of this process based on input from the referee.
For each qualified referral, only one Ambassador is eligible for the associated incentive. Incentives are calculated per business referred, not per location; for example, a referee with five (5) locations qualifies for one (1) incentive.
“Qualified references” are defined as reference conversations with prospective Oryx customers that result in new Oryx customers (“referees”), and that meet all of the following criteria:
- Reference conversations must be completed in coordination with Oryx’s Sales team.
- Referee has signed an annual contract with Oryx.
Dentists and Business Owners are eligible to receive a credit for one (1) month of Oryx Pro (or equivalent value) for each qualified referral, and $100 in Oryx credit for each qualified reference, with no cap on the total number of incentives.
Dental Team Members, including but not limited to Office Managers and Hygienists, are eligible to receive a referral bonus of $300 per qualified referral and $50 for each qualified reference, with no cap on the total number of incentives.
Process and Payment
Incentives are delivered within thirty (30) days of a qualified referral or qualified reference meeting the payout criteria.
Incentives are paid in the form of Oryx subscription credits or payments through Bill.com.
Additional Terms
Changes to the Program: Oryx Dental Software reserves the right to alter, suspend, or terminate this Program, or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Notification of any changes will be provided on the Oryx website.
Other Restrictions: Referral incentives are non-transferable and cannot be combined with other offers. Program eligibility, incentives, and payment terms are subject to verification by Oryx Dental Software. All Program incentives shall be administered solely in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and subject to any limitations or exclusions outlined herein.
