Laura Radloff started her dental career over 20 years ago as a chairside dental assistant and was promptly trained in many of the operations of the practice. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, she took on leadership responsibilities while attending numerous dental-related CE courses including administrative and clinical topics. Additionally, she volunteered at and co-hosted “free dental care” events. Her passion for helping the community by bringing oral health education and care to those in need led her to pursue a master’s in public health with a dental emphasis. After earning her advanced degree, she held leadership positions with county ran, state ran and non-profit organizations focused on dental care and education for children, homeless and veterans.
Similar to other professionals post-COVID-19, she transitioned to pursuing a remote position. Laura joined the team at eAssist, a national revenue cycle management company, and was able to excel in her position because of her extensive clinical and administrative experience. Recognizing the value of working with Oryx dental software by seeing firsthand how the software’s functionality easily increased office collections, and production, and decreased outstanding balances, she sought to assist other Oryx users in recognizing how successful their practice could be by utilizing the tools readily available in the practice management software. Connecting with Dr Rania Saleh and sharing her passion for Oryx, revenue cycle management, and helping others, led to the creation of the RevGen department within Oryx. Clients of RevGen have experienced an average increase in collections of 20% within the first month with an average collection ratio of all RevGen clients of 114%. Laura continues to attend conferences, continuing education courses, and receive certifications to expand her professional growth as she helps offices do the same.
